Role overview
Fieldpiece Instruments is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst focused on new product introduction and supply chain performance. The role supports product launches, supply continuity, operational efficiency, and scalable growth through data-driven planning and cross-functional collaboration.
This position is based in Orange, CA, with a planned office move to Tustin, CA in mid-2028. The company also highlights a culture of curiosity, a Hire-to-Retire approach, and recognition as one of Southern California’s Best Places to Work for 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.
What you will do
- Prepare the supply chain for new product launches by coordinating planning, lead times, and inventory strategies.
- Track launch performance measures and use them to support successful introductions.
- Set up ERP data for new SKUs and keep planning parameters accurate.
- Spot supply risks early and help reduce their impact on launch schedules.
- Work closely with Product Management and Engineering throughout product development.
- Handle RFQs and supplier assessments for new products and components.
- Support supplier negotiations and cost-saving efforts.
- Coordinate with global suppliers to keep projects moving and resolve issues.
- Review inventory, lead times, service levels, and supply results to guide decisions.
- Look for ways to improve working capital, inventory health, and supply responsiveness.
- Assist with S&OP through reporting, scenario analysis, and practical recommendations.
- Make sure planning, purchasing, and execution stay aligned.
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Product Management, and suppliers to balance demand and supply.
- Prepare clear analyses and recommendations for leadership.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPI reporting and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, planning, procurement, or operations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP tools such as Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Strong Excel capability; experience with Power BI or Tableau is considered an advantage.
- Well-developed analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities.
- Comfort managing several priorities in a fast-moving, cross-functional setting.
- Preferred: exposure to NPI or phase-gate product launches.
- Preferred: background in manufacturing, electronics, HVAC, or durable goods.
- Preferred: experience with global sourcing and supplier management.
- Preferred: history of working with Engineering and Product Management teams.

Compensation and equal opportunity
The California base salary range for this role is $76,000 to $105,000 per year, plus a 10% annual bonus. Pay is determined by the role, level, location, market alignment, and each candidate’s skills, experience, education, certifications, and related factors. More details about bonus and benefits may be shared during the hiring process.
