Role overview
Our client is a fast-growing digital financial services company that is transforming banking by combining technology, innovation, and a strong customer focus. The business is looking to add a Strategy Specialist to its CEO Office in Singapore. In this role, you will work directly with the Chief Strategy Officer and contribute to the organisation’s strategic direction through high-impact work that supports senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
You will help build the company’s long-range strategy while working with leaders across the business to ensure strategic priorities are aligned across the bank. The role also involves shaping the organisation’s strategic story for different audiences, including internal teams and external stakeholders. You will prepare polished materials for Board meetings, regulators, investors, and executive communications.
Alongside this, you will either own or support a small number of important strategic projects. These may include market research, business analysis, assessment of new products and expansion opportunities, and the preparation of recommendations that inform major decisions.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is degree-qualified and has around five years of experience, preferably from a top management consulting firm with a strong strategy focus. Candidates from internal strategy teams in a digital bank, retail bank, fintech, or payments company may also be considered. A solid toolkit is important, including structured problem solving, strategic thinking, financial modelling, scenario planning, and creating presentations for executive audiences.
Experience in corporate strategy, market analysis, M&A, commercial due diligence, or growth strategy will be a plus. The role also calls for excellent communication skills, a strong executive presence, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
