Your Opportunity

Blackwoods is expanding and is looking for a capable and driven Storeperson to become part of its busy warehouse team in Orange, New South Wales. This position plays an important part in keeping the distribution centre running smoothly and helping deliver a strong service experience to customers.

The role covers a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving goods, dispatching orders, picking and packing items, and handling bulk storage. You will also use warehouse equipment and modern management systems to support day-to-day operations.

Key Duties

• Accurately pick, pack, and send customer orders in a timely manner
• Accept incoming deliveries, apply labels, and place stock into storage
• Sort freight and carry out loading and unloading tasks for vehicles
• Support stock control activities and help with physical stocktakes
• Enter data into computer systems and work within the Freight Management System
• Use forklifts to assist with receiving and dispatch operations

What You’ll Need

• Experience in warehousing, particularly in receiving, picking, packing, or dispatch, is an advantage
• A valid forklift licence and/or experience operating high-reach equipment is preferred
• Confidence using warehouse software and computer-based systems
• Clear communication skills, along with a dependable and proactive approach
• A strong customer service mindset and the ability to work well in a team
• Good time management and practical problem-solving ability
