Role summary

In this position, you will support the Store Manager with day-to-day Stationstore operations. The job involves helping with staffing, supervising team members, handling bookkeeping, and supporting merchandising. You will also play a part in keeping service fast, friendly, and consistent while maintaining the company’s standards.

Key responsibilities

You will help oversee store operations, support hiring and team supervision, and work alongside staff to complete daily tasks. The role also includes bookkeeping, merchandising, and helping maintain a high level of customer service.

You will be expected to support the food program as well, deliver a strong example for the team, and demonstrate urgency, patience, and leadership in daily work.

Preferred background

Retail experience is an advantage, along with prior supervisory or management experience. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, or hiring is helpful, as is experience working with food. A high school or college degree is also considered beneficial.

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
• Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds from the ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes during a shift
• Occasional ability to lift or carry up to 60 pounds from the ground to waist height
• Ability to push or pull with the arms using up to 20 pounds of force
• Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift
• Ability to grasp, reach, and handle objects with the hands, with eye-hand coordination; ladder use may be required for storing, retrieving, or placing materials and signs
