About the Role
Mercor specializes in linking top creative and technical professionals with premier AI research organizations. Based in San Francisco, the company boasts investors such as Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
This contract position is fully remote, offering compensation between $80 and $120 per hour. The role focuses on assessing AI-produced artifacts, especially spreadsheets and workbooks, for quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess AI-generated documents and spreadsheet workbooks according to specific domain quality standards.
- Spot and report factual inaccuracies, design inconsistencies, and presentation flaws in spreadsheets, slide presentations, and other documentation.
- Deliver detailed, organized feedback aimed at enhancing the precision and quality of AI outputs.
- Cooperate with AI research teams to improve model performance and data training quality.
- Manage independent, asynchronous work schedules to ensure timely, high-standard evaluations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in spreadsheet quality assurance or workbook maintenance.
- Fluent English, at either native or professional proficiency level.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace, particularly Google Slides.
- Preferred candidates hold an advanced degree (Master's or higher) from a respected academic institution.
