Role Summary

In this on-site role, the Site Engineer will manage everyday installation work for solar water heating and air treatment projects. The position is based in the western region of Saudi Arabia and requires close coordination with project managers, contractors, and clients to organize site tasks, assign resources, and address technical challenges as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

The engineer will track project progress, perform site inspections, and apply quality control checks to confirm that work aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations. The role also includes preparing site progress reports, recording any deviations from the plan, assisting with testing and commissioning, and ensuring adherence to HSE standards. In addition, the position calls for involvement in design review discussions, offering constructability input, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of site methods and standards.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should have a strong practical background in on-site project execution, including supervision of construction or installation activities, coordination of site teams, and consistent attention to safety procedures. A solid mechanical engineering foundation is required, along with the ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and calculations. Effective communication and teamwork are important for working with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and preferably have experience in construction, installation, renewable energy, MEP, or mechanical systems projects. Familiarity with local Saudi building codes, standards, and HSE regulations will be an advantage. The role also requires the ability to work independently, handle several tasks at once, adapt to changing site conditions, and use engineering and office software such as AutoCAD and MS Office; exposure to project management tools is a plus.
