Role Summary
The Shift Leader will oversee team performance during assigned trading periods, keeping crew members engaged, motivated, and aligned to food safety and food quality standards. This role also involves guiding the team through peak service times, supporting crew development, and taking steps to improve the guest experience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading the team effectively during assigned shifts and busy service windows.
- Keeping team members motivated, engaged, and focused on service quality.
- Maintaining strong standards for food safety and food quality.
- Supporting and coaching crew members through day-to-day training.
- Actively working to enhance the customer and guest experience.
Experience and Certification
The employer values experience gained in different settings, but is specifically looking for candidates with the following background:
- Prior experience supervising or leading a team in a busy environment.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate, either already completed or a willingness to complete it.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol course, either already completed or a willingness to undertake it.
