Senior Project Manager - Permanent/Contract - Melbourne

Role Overview

An urgent opening is available for an experienced Senior Project Manager in Melbourne. This position can be offered on either a permanent or contract basis and is focused on delivering major technology initiatives for retail business units, including supermarkets, liquor, and broader group platforms.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Taking ownership of end-to-end delivery for large and complex technology programs.
• Planning and controlling project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement.
• Partnering with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Business teams to keep delivery aligned.
• Leading projects across Integration and Store Infrastructure Technology.
• Ensuring project outcomes match business priorities, target dates, cost boundaries, and defined scope.
• Reducing delivery risks while encouraging strong collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
• Helping maintain a productive and high-performance delivery environment.

Experience and Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience is required.
• Proven ability to lead complex technology deliveries in a large business setting.
• Strong capability in governance across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Additional Details

Duration: Permanent / 6 months, with a possible extension.
