Opportunity

Cottonton Sawmill is hiring dependable, hardworking people for current openings in a Sawmill Utility role in Cottonton, Alabama.

Role Overview

This position supports machine operators and handles general labor tasks throughout the mill. The utility worker assists with wood marking and banding, and helps move re-runs between the edger, stacker, and tipple operator. The work takes place both indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to weather extremes and other environmental conditions.

Compensation

Entry-level employees start at a probationary wage of $17.14 per hour, with the rate increasing to $17.43 per hour after probation.

Requirements

• Commitment to working safely at all times
• Availability for first, second, or third shift
• At least 1 year of prior work experience
