About the Company
This position is centered on assisting shoppers on the sales floor, responding promptly to their questions and needs, and contributing to a strong customer experience and solid store sales performance.
About the Role
As a Sales Associate, you will be an important part of the store team, helping deliver high-quality service while supporting day-to-day selling activities.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, provide help, and make sure their questions and requests are handled quickly while meeting service and quality expectations.
- Support purchase decisions by guiding shoppers toward suitable items, sharing relevant product advice, and suggesting gift vouchers when appropriate.
- Keep shelves stocked, orderly, and presentable on an ongoing basis, and maintain a clean, well-organized sales floor.
- Stay alert to security concerns and theft-related risks, and report incidents promptly through the proper chain of command to reduce potential losses.
- Carry out regular physical and system-based stock checks in line with company procedures to maintain accurate inventory records.
- For fashion stores: place and display new merchandise as directed by the Merchandiser or Shop Manager, and update price tags during promotions or whenever required.
- For fashion stores: take measurements needed for alterations, apply pricing from the approved price list, complete the alteration log, and inform the tailor of required changes.
- For multimedia stores: promote additional products and services to help meet hourly and daily sales goals.
- For multimedia stores: update the Department Manager about products that are out of stock or underperforming.
- For multimedia stores: merchandise products in the correct areas based on sales patterns, launch dates, and guidance from the Department Manager.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is considered an advantage.
- Strong command of English.
- Ability to provide dependable customer service.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving retail setting.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Prior retail sales experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with fashion or multimedia products is an added advantage.
