Role overview
This is a contract, remote opportunity for a capable video editor to support the relaunch and continued growth of a YouTube channel focused on financial education and retirement planning. The content aims to inform and motivate viewers, and the work includes producing roughly 2 to 3 videos each month for an established audience.

What you will do
- Edit long-form YouTube content to a polished standard, with strong pacing, clarity, and viewer retention in mind.
- Create thumbnails that stand out visually and align with the channel’s finance-oriented brand.
- Adapt video assets for different social media platforms so the content can reach a wider audience.
- Help develop and promote an email newsletter, including support for online payment setup and email automation sequences tied to financial product sales.
- Deliver work on time and keep to the publishing schedule, with new videos planned for every Saturday at 6pm GMT.
- Stay in regular communication and keep your work aligned with the channel’s direction and goals.
Skills and experience needed
- Hands-on experience editing YouTube videos, preferably for finance, education, or similarly content-driven channels.
- Comfort using professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable software.
- Ability to produce attractive thumbnails and reformat content for multiple channels and platforms.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and online payment setup.
- Strong English communication skills at native level for accurate, clear collaboration.
- Good planning and time-management skills for remote work and deadline-driven delivery.
- A creative approach, strong attention to detail, and interest in financial learning content.
