Role overview
We are hiring a driven and commercially minded Relationship Manager for the Medium Enterprises team. This position focuses on acquiring and managing clients in the medium enterprise segment, protecting portfolio quality, and growing business through effective cross-selling.

What the role involves
- Bring in new-to-bank medium enterprise customers with business turnover in the ₹100 Cr to ₹500 Cr range by using market insights, referrals, and industry contacts.
- Own and nurture an existing client portfolio, maintaining regular contact to improve satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Study financial statements, assess risk, and draft detailed credit notes for both new and existing accounts, ensuring proposals fit bank credit guidelines.
- Work closely with internal credit stakeholders to discuss proposals and move them through the approval process, while aligning client needs with suitable offerings.
- Keep the portfolio healthy through timely renewals, limit adherence, document upkeep, and monitoring of early warning indicators to reduce delinquencies and safeguard asset quality.
- Spot opportunities to deepen relationships and expand revenue through products such as trade finance, treasury, cash management, insurance, and working capital solutions.
Candidate profile
The preferred candidate is a graduate or postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline, with a strong background in corporate, SME, or medium enterprise banking. The role also requires solid credit-analysis knowledge, comfort with financial statements, and strong communication and client-handling skills. You should be able to grow business while managing risk responsibly.
