Role overview
This position is for a Receptionist at ENTERMARKETS in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on creating a welcoming front-desk experience, managing visitor flow, handling communications, and providing day-to-day administrative assistance.
Visitor handling and front-desk support
- Welcome guests and clients professionally, then guide them to the correct person or department.
- Oversee the visitor sign-in process, provide visitor badges or passes, and keep security records up to date.
- Inform relevant team members when visitors arrive.
Communication and inquiry management
- Answer incoming calls, screen them, and route them appropriately while recording messages accurately when needed.
- Respond to questions received in person, over the phone, or by email, sharing details about the company’s activities and services.
- Address concerns or complaints from clients and the public in a professional and polite manner.
Administrative coordination
- Organize appointments, reservations, and meeting room schedules.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, deliveries, and other incoming or outgoing correspondence.
- Carry out routine clerical work such as document preparation, data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Keep the reception area neat, well-organized, and presentable at all times.
Additional duties
- In hospitality environments, the role may also include guest check-in and check-out, payment handling, and supporting sales through upselling.
- Help coordinate events when required.
- Provide administrative help to other teams as needed.
