The company focuses on utility-scale solar development and has established long-term partnerships with major utilities and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) throughout the United States. Its leadership has collectively delivered more than 20 GW of solar construction experience across 200+ projects in 13 states and Ontario, Canada.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-focused and proactive scheduler to help plan and manage utility-scale solar EPC work across the U.S. This position supports scheduling across the full project lifecycle, including preconstruction, execution, commissioning, and final closeout.

The right candidate will bring 1 to 3 years of scheduling experience in construction, EPC, energy, or infrastructure environments, along with a solid grasp of project controls, critical path methods, and field coordination. Background in utility-scale solar, renewable energy, heavy civil, or industrial construction is strongly valued.

This role partners closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineering, Procurement, and subcontractors to keep milestones, resource planning, and schedule performance aligned with contractual and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and manage detailed project schedules in Primavera P6.
  • Support planning activities during preconstruction, project execution, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Help Project Managers and Operations teams build baseline schedules, prepare updates, and develop recovery plans.
  • Monitor progress, productivity, milestones, procurement status, and effects on the critical path.
  • Perform schedule reviews to spot potential delays, risks, and ways to improve timing.
  • Compile and share weekly and monthly schedule updates, reports, and short-term look-ahead plans.
  • Work with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and subcontractor groups to keep timelines aligned.
  • Coordinate schedule integration across civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning workstreams.
  • Take part in project meetings and provide scheduling insight and recommendations.
  • Assist with change order review, delay records, and time impact assessments.
  • Preserve schedule logic, resource loading, and accurate progress reporting.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in scheduling methods, reporting, and project controls.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of scheduling experience in EPC, construction, renewable energy, industrial, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with utility-scale solar projects is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Primavera P6 is required.
  • Working knowledge of CPM scheduling and construction sequencing is needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project scopes.
  • Capable of explaining schedule impacts, risks, and recovery options to both field teams and leadership.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites when necessary.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior exposure to utility-scale solar EPC projects.
  • Knowledge of procurement tracking and material delivery planning.
  • Experience working with self-performing contractors.
  • Understanding of renewable energy construction workflows and commissioning processes.

What We Offer

  • A competitive compensation package.
  • Bonus opportunities.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • The chance to contribute to major renewable infrastructure projects across the United States.
