Program Manager - Veteran Suicide Prevention

About the Role

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary has tasked the Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) with evaluating current Veteran Health Administration (VHA) initiatives aimed at reducing Veteran suicides and identifying novel strategies to further decrease these deaths. A key outcome of this review is the Veteran Suicide Prevention FY 2026 Strategic Sprints. This initiative necessitates an enterprise-wide strategy to enhance coordination of increasing interactions, promote non-pharmacological approaches for chronic pain management, connect Veterans with community faith-based resources, and improve care coordination between the VA and CITC providers. Gritter Francona is seeking a Program Manager to contribute to this critical effort.

Helpful Experience

• Demonstrated experience in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing programs within an integrated healthcare system.

Requirements

• Master's degree
• PMP certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience managing healthcare projects or programs, with at least 6 of those years dedicated to supporting a government agency.
