About the Role
Join the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection in a guest-facing reservations role focused on delivering premium service across the APAC market. You will be the first contact for reservation services, supporting luxury travelers and travel advisor partners with a polished, personalised experience. The role also has a sales component and is eligible for sales incentives.
The position sits within a luxury hospitality environment at sea, guided by the brand’s Gold Standards and Employee Promise, with an emphasis on trust, honesty, respect, integrity, commitment, and service excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Handle outbound calls, emails, and web chat to build strong relationships with guests and travel agency partners.
- Support final payment processing and promote additional offerings such as spa services, destination experiences, air travel, hotels, and Bonvoy benefits.
- Work leads promptly and in line with service-level targets so every interaction feels smooth and efficient.
- Deliver tailored service by anticipating guest needs throughout the reservation journey.
- Build strong knowledge of the luxury cruise business and the company’s offerings to make informed recommendations.
- Take part in daily team meetings and training sessions to stay current on systems, destinations, products, and internal processes.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of a 2-year college degree, or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- At least 2 years of customer service or sales experience, ideally in luxury hospitality or luxury cruise operations.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfort working toward targets and performance metrics.
- Working knowledge of reservation systems and related policies.
- Willingness to learn the full range of offerings, from travel and accommodation to destination experiences.
- Ability to follow company procedures and service standards consistently.
- Mandarin and/or Japanese language skills are helpful, though not mandatory.
Working Arrangements
- This is a full-time role based primarily onsite in the Sydney CBD office.
- Work hours are scheduled in shifts.
- Weekend and public holiday work may occasionally be required.
