Dandelion Chocolate is hiring a full-time Product Maker for its Las Vegas chocolate factory. This is an on-site role in the Packaging department, reporting to the Sous Chef. The position runs 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:30pm at 3265 5010 S. Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89118. What the role involves

Work varies by day and may include setting up a work area, checking assignments, assembling gift sets, packing custom orders, and preparing materials for future projects. The role also includes supporting the confectionery team with tasks such as tying ribbons on boxes, packing chips for s’mores kits, and hand-labeling chocolate bars. The successful candidate is expected to adapt quickly, maintain quality standards, and stay productive even during busy periods.

Key duties

• Assemble packaged products such as taped and folded boxes, ribbon-tied items, tins, and gift sets.
• Keep the work area and inventory organized, clean, and sanitized.
• Learn and apply new procedures as new products are introduced.
• Look for ways to support daily operations and improve working methods.
• Use slower periods to prepare for upcoming tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Collaborate with teammates and also work independently when needed.
• Take on any other related duties required by the team.

Candidate profile

The ideal person is comfortable with repetitive work and fine motor tasks, and can remain focused on quality throughout the shift. They should be proactive, self-directed, quick to learn, and open to feedback. A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others are important, along with the flexibility to switch tasks as needed. This is also a role for someone who wants to grow, take on more responsibility, and potentially help train new team members or develop standard operating procedures in the future.

Work schedule and conditions

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, for a total of 40 hours per week. The position is fully on-site. The work requires standing for long periods, walking throughout the shift, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Compensation and benefits

Pay begins at $22.50 per hour.
