Job Summary
This role is focused on overseeing procurement and sourcing for construction projects, making sure materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time, meet the required standards, and are secured at the most competitive cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement work across assigned projects.
- Identify, assess, and approve suitable suppliers.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contractual terms, and supply conditions.
- Examine and authorize purchase requests and purchase orders.
- Track the movement and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Work closely with project, warehouse, and finance teams to keep operations aligned.
- Manage procurement spend and drive savings opportunities.
- Compile procurement reports and summarize team or supplier performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement is needed, with construction industry exposure preferred.
