• A solid grasp of research methods and ethical standards relevant to the discipline is necessary.
• Strong analytical ability and sound critical thinking are expected.
• The role requires clear, concise, and constructive written communication.
• Applicants must be able to work to deadlines and manage time efficiently.
• Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality is essential.
• Previous experience reviewing papers for academic journals is preferred.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review platforms is needed.

Responsibilities

• Judge whether the manuscript offers original ideas or adds meaningful new knowledge to the field.
• Review the appropriateness, completeness, and clarity of the research design and methodology.
• Check whether the literature review is current, relevant, and properly cited.
• Assess how well the findings and conclusions are presented and whether they are supported by the evidence.
• Offer practical, constructive comments and point out any weaknesses, gaps, or ethical issues.
• Provide a recommendation on publication suitability for the editor to consider in the final decision.
