Role overview
This permanent Payroll & HR Coordinator position is based in Chester and offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000, along with an excellent benefits package. The organisation is expanding and is seeking someone who can add strength to the HR function during a period of growth and change. You will be part of a collaborative, close-knit team and help shape a positive people agenda.
What you will be doing
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will take responsibility for the full monthly payroll cycle for around 250 employees, including all year-end activities. You will also prepare payroll reporting, and experience with IR35, P11d and P46 processes would be a strong advantage. In addition to payroll, the role includes support for recruitment activity and ownership of employee lifecycle administration.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate will have solid experience as an HR Administrator and a track record of managing payroll end to end. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset and a genuine commitment to people-focused work are important. You should be highly organised, comfortable making decisions, and able to work effectively in a busy, fast-moving environment. CIPD Level 3, or progress towards it, is required, together with a full UK driving licence.
