About the Role
Gino's Gelato is looking for a part-time sales assistant for its Westport, County Mayo store. The business is an Irish retail brand with several outlets and is expanding quickly. The role suits someone who is outgoing, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
Schedule and Availability
This position is part-time, with 20 to 25 hours per week. You must have complete flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings across weekdays and weekends. Candidates who cannot commit to these hours, including anyone currently in school or studying, should not apply.
Key Duties
- Help maintain a consistently strong customer service experience in store.
- Keep the shop clean, well-presented, and in line with health and safety standards.
- Support product display and merchandising so the offering is shown effectively.
- Work as part of a team to uphold the high standards expected by the business.
Candidate Profile
Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required, as training will be provided. The employer is looking for someone with strong communication and people skills, a positive attitude, the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure, and a willingness to learn and improve.
