This position is centered on coordinating maintenance planning for packaging operations. Responsibilities

  • Confirm that all asset care work is completed to the required standards.
  • Make sure spares required for the asset care program are available on time and within budget.
  • Identify training needs for machine specialists and shift teams, and recommend appropriate development actions.
  • Review SAP maintenance data to spot repeat issues and suggest improvements to asset care schedules.
  • Coordinate the allocation of process artisans and machine specialists during maintenance days, cleaning days, and annual shutdowns.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in asset care problem-solving discussions.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical, or a comparable qualification.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in production engineering.
  • Practical experience using SAP maintenance systems.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of maintenance processes and operating practices.
  • Detailed knowledge of packaging plant equipment and production processes.
  • Confident, assertive leadership style with solid people management ability.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
