Night Shift Cleaner

Role overview

SSP UK & Ireland is hiring a Night Shift Cleaner for Tap & Brew at Leeds Bradford Airport. This is an overnight, site-based hospitality cleaning role supporting the venue’s end-of-day reset and early-morning readiness.

The pay rate is £12.85 per hour, with an additional £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6:00 AM. That means those qualifying hours are paid at £14.05 per hour. The shift runs from 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM, and the role requires flexibility across weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays.

SSP operates across airports, train stations, and motorway service areas in the UK and Ireland, working with well-known brands including M&S, Starbucks, Burger King, and BrewDog.

What you will do

• Keep customer-facing spaces clean and presentable.
• Carry out a thorough nightly clean of equipment, worktops, and flooring.
• Reset the customer area and bar so they are ready for the following day.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely, following all health and safety rules.

What we are looking for

We are seeking someone with a lively, approachable, and practical personality who enjoys staying active, takes ownership of their work, and can work independently when needed.

Applicants must be 18 years or older, as some duties or shifts require this. A Criminal Record Check is required, and five years of references must be provided.

Experience in deep cleaning, industrial cleaning, kitchen cleaning, or similarly demanding cleaning work is preferred.
