About Sereact
Sereact develops the intelligence that enables robots to perceive, think, and take action in real-world environments. The company focuses on practical industrial use cases such as warehouses and factories, aiming to solve automation challenges that conventional systems cannot address. Its mission is to reshape how physical tasks are performed, and it is seeking inventive and ambitious people to help build the next generation of robotics.
Role Overview
This position is for a mechanical engineer who can help create new systems and components for AI-powered robots. The work includes building precise 3D models and fabrication-ready technical drawings, partnering with other engineering disciplines so mechanical parts work smoothly with electrical and software systems, running mechanical simulations and testing, and refining designs to improve cost, performance, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical assemblies and parts for AI-driven robotic systems.
- Produce detailed 3D CAD models and drawings suitable for manufacturing.
- Work closely with electrical and software teams to make sure all subsystems integrate properly.
- Evaluate and improve designs for affordability, efficiency, and ease of production.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computational Mechanics, Engineering Science, or a similar discipline.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or automation.
- Background in industrial design or special-purpose machinery is considered an advantage.
- Practical experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or comparable tools.
- Knowledge of mechanical testing and prototyping workflows.
- Good understanding of material behavior, production methods, and overall system integration.
- Willingness to travel around 25% of the time.
Interview Process
- Initial application review.
- A short take-home assignment with clear instructions and a deadline.
- A 40-minute culture-fit conversation covering your working style, motivation, CV highlights, and any questions you may have.
