Role Overview

Crimson Education is looking for a practical, execution-oriented Martech Lead to take full ownership of its global marketing technology ecosystem. This person will build, manage, and continuously improve the systems that power marketing operations across more than 20 markets and several subsidiary businesses.

The role is responsible for technical delivery, system reliability, and ongoing optimisation of the marketing stack. You will turn business and growth needs into scalable, clearly documented systems that support faster campaign execution, cleaner data, and stronger lead outcomes worldwide.

This position requires end-to-end accountability for martech architecture, integrations, platform governance, and everyday system operations. Key Responsibilities

You will lead the administration and governance of enterprise marketing systems, including data structures, lifecycle handling, custom fields and objects, permissions, and overall control processes.

  • Set up and run Crimson’s global martech environment, including Marketo, Zapier, SMS platforms, ticketing tools, event platforms, and other marketing technologies.

  • Work with website developers to define, test, and verify integrations between Crimson’s headless website and Marketo.
  • Coordinate closely with the Salesforce Technical Manager to maintain dependable data synchronisation between Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Roll out new tools and features across global teams, with documentation, training support, and clear communication to encourage adoption.
  • Strengthen email performance by improving behavioural segmentation and reducing broad, untargeted sends.
  • Assess, compare, and recommend scalable and cost-efficient platforms and tools for global use.
  • Serve as the escalation contact for urgent marketing system issues, assessing and resolving problems to reduce business disruption.

Requirements
