About the Company
Exaktera is a worldwide photonics business focused on industrial manufacturing, machine vision, and life sciences. Through a group of leading brands, the company aims to help customers succeed by applying the power of light.
This position offers the chance to support the growth of Exaktera’s main brand as well as three product brands: Advanced Illumination, ProPhotonix, and Z-LASER. The role reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and works closely with two product-brand Marketing Managers through dotted-line reporting.
The Marketing Executive will help deliver, improve, and evaluate digital campaigns across a range of channels, including marketing automation, social media, and company websites. The role also includes day-to-day social media communication for Exaktera, ProPhotonix, and Advanced Illumination. It combines strategic marketing work with communications tasks across both digital and more traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and run email marketing campaigns using Pardot.
- Plan and deliver social media activity, including regular blog posts and social content that support product launches, events, and other initiatives.
- Develop, select, and publish engaging content tailored to the target audience.
- Track performance indicators such as open rates and click-through rates, then use the findings to suggest improvements.
- Partner with the marketing team to segment audiences by demographic, behavioural, and engagement data so communications reach the right people at the right time.
- Run the company’s customer satisfaction survey, then analyse and present the results.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a closely related discipline.
- Between 2 and 5 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a technical or industrial setting.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation tools; Salesforce and Pardot are strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Excellent written English and communication skills, with content creation experience being an advantage.
- Strong planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
- Experience using content tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, along with basic photo and video editing, is desirable.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret marketing data and turn it into campaign improvements.
- Ability to work with photography and video-editing tools is a plus.
Work Schedule and Location
This is a hybrid role based in Cork, County Cork, Ireland. The working pattern is 40 hours per week, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Compensation
The salary for this position is €38,000, depending on experience.
