Role overview
This position is for an experienced maintenance professional to support a welcoming, specialist care environment at Cheriton care home in Dorchester. The role is part of a rewarding setting where the upkeep of the building and outdoor areas directly supports resident safety and comfort.

Main duties
- Maintain the building and grounds while following health and safety standards.
- Carry out general repairs and upkeep such as painting, decorating, grounds work, plastering, and fixing doors and windows.
- Escalate repair work to a contractor through the head office team when it cannot be completed in-house.
- Help ensure the care home remains safe for residents at all times.
- Complete and record maintenance work in line with legal and regulatory obligations.
