Local CDL Class B Route Driver

About the Role

Kahiki Foods, a CJ Foods affiliate, is looking to hire immediately for a local CDL Class B route driver in Athens, GA. This position supports well-known retail food brands, including Red Baron®, Tony's®, and Freschetta® pizzas; Mrs. Smith's® and Edwards® desserts; and bibigo® and Pagoda® Asian-style snacks.

Compensation and Schedule

• Annual pay range: $58,000 to $60,000
• Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Weekly off days: Sunday and Wednesday

Key Duties

In this field-based driving role, you will complete local delivery routes to grocery stores so products are stocked and available for customers.

• Follow the assigned daily route and meet service standards
• Unload merchandise, place it in the back room, and collect delivery proof
• Use handheld devices to finish daily tasks
• Develop positive in-store relationships and collaborate well with teammates in a busy setting
• Observe DOT rules and complete vehicle inspections

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in delivery, grocery, or warehouse environments
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
• Ability to satisfy medical certification requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Capable of safely lifting 35 pounds and moving frozen goods with proper equipment
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical before employment
