Project Details
This role is for offshore work across Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. The position is based on various offshore projects.
Role Summary
The Line up Operator will handle pipe movement and fit-up activities in the prefabrication area, line-up station, and J-lay tower assembly station. The role also requires safe operation of equipment in line with HSE procedures.
Key Duties
- Manage pipeline conveyors and transfer cars in the double-joint prefabrication area.
- Use clamps for fit-up work in the J-lay tower assembly station.
- Run support pipe rollers and transfer cars at line-up stations.
- Notify the mechanical team whenever equipment issues or breakdowns are identified.
- Ensure green and red lights are used correctly according to the stage of work.
- Operate the ILUC system and its winches.
- Take part in toolbox talks and JSAs.
Requirements
- Prior offshore experience as a Line up Operator is required.
- Experience supporting offshore hook-up activities will be considered an advantage.
- Valid offshore certification is mandatory.
- Candidates must be available to work in the Middle East.
Contract and Benefits
