Line Supervisor

Role Overview

This position is for a Line Supervisor in a large-scale laundry operation based in Dubai. The role focuses on keeping daily production running smoothly, maintaining service quality, and ensuring work is completed on time to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee team members in the assigned area so work follows company standards for each client, and ensure output remains productive and on schedule.
• Track rewash volumes closely and work with the Washing Supervisor and Area Senior Supervisor to take quick corrective steps that reduce rewash, control cost, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Set clear performance expectations and promote strong work practices across the team.
• Support onboarding, probation follow-up, performance reviews, communication rollouts, and team training activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-control measures that support business goals and financial performance.
• Make sure all receiving and issuing records are entered correctly into the ERP system.
• Maintain accuracy of client laundry items by coordinating daily operations with logistics and customer care, including VIP items, express deliveries, and urgent requests to ensure on-time service.
• Work regularly with the engineering team to arrange timely equipment maintenance and prioritize breakdowns.
• Follow occupational health and safety standards by carrying out workplace checks and encouraging safe working habits throughout the team.
• Carry out duties in line with the department’s procedures and the company’s Quality Policy, including ISO 9001:2008 requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Higher Secondary Diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience is needed.
• Prior supervisory experience in a high-volume laundry facility is essential.
