Lead Full Stack Engineer (WFH)

Role summary

We are looking for a driven Lead Full-Stack Engineer to own the technology direction of a financial data platform. In this role, you will help scale a financial reporting product and create fast, browser-based Excel integrations that serve audit and tax teams.

You will act as the technical lead for the project, guiding architecture, solving complex issues directly, and supporting junior engineers so the team can deliver high-quality work and continue growing professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction for a product built with Angular and Office.js on the frontend and Flask on the backend.
• Deploy and support web applications on internal company servers, including uptime management and incident handling in production.
• Build and maintain Excel add-ins using Office.js to connect the platform with day-to-day financial workflows.
• Review code, coach junior developers, and encourage strong engineering standards across the team.
• Spot technical bottlenecks early and implement practical fixes without waiting for outside instruction.

Technical requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS.
• Backend development capability in Python, Flask, Pandas, REST API design, and SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of Git and application deployment using Apache and/or NGINX.
• Experience with Office.js and Excel add-in development is strongly preferred.

Qualifications and soft skills

• At least 5 years of full-stack development experience, ideally in FinTech.
• Proven ability to take ownership and solve difficult technical problems independently.
• Experience guiding junior developers and making architecture-level decisions.
• Clear communication skills to explain technical ideas to both stakeholders and peers.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to candidates with at least 6 years of experience. Applicants should be Computer Science Engineering students.

Additional details

This is a work-from-home role based in India. The position is full time and remote. The offered compensation is INR 18,00,000 to 22,00,000 per year. There is 1 opening, and the role is expected to start immediately. The application deadline is 2026-10-27 23:59:59.
