Role overview

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be an important part of the kitchen operation. This is a practical, busy position focused on keeping the kitchen clean, orderly and running efficiently while supporting chefs during service and helping uphold strong hygiene standards.

Key duties

  • Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen throughout service
  • Wash dishes, cookware and kitchen tools to a high standard
  • Help chefs with simple preparation work and other general kitchen tasks as required
  • Handle waste disposal and recycling in a responsible manner
  • Support the team with deliveries and stock organisation
  • Consistently follow food safety and hygiene procedures
