Kitchen Porter

Role overview

A full-time Porter is needed to support the day-to-day running of operations at Lodestone House in Tonbridge. The position is contracted for 40 hours each week and involves variable shift patterns. The role focuses on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and customer care while supporting different teams across the venue.

What you'll do

• Keep the lobby and other shared guest areas clean, orderly, and presentable.
• Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams with room setups and moving furniture when needed.
• Carry out selected reception-style tasks such as arranging theatre tickets or booking restaurant tables.
• Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Complete errands as required to help the site run smoothly.
• Protect customer safety by placing and removing warnings for wet floors or freshly painted areas.
