Role Overview

The Janitor supports the facility by keeping the building clean, orderly, and safe through a range of daily assigned tasks.

Key Duties

• Carry out routine interior cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Clean and replenish restrooms as needed.
• Handle spills using the correct equipment and place safety signage where required.
• Inform the manager about repair needs and supply shortages.
• Gather and remove waste from the facility.
• Finish assigned work promptly and with limited supervision.
• Lift up to at least 25 lbs as part of the job.
• Use and care for the floor scrubber.
• Help maintain 6S standards across the facility.
• Alert the supervisor to any conditions that could create a serious safety risk.
• Meet required standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment for the assigned area.
• Follow company policies, GMP requirements, food safety management system rules and procedures, sanitation practices, and safety procedures.
• Support food safety and product quality practices that protect the brand and deliver strong value.

• Safety glasses.
• Provided uniforms and safety shoes suitable for wet environments.
• Basic hand tools.
• Mop.
• Broom.
• Zamboni.
• Floor scraper.

This position is on first shift.
