Role Overview
This position is for a proactive and organized HR Assistant who will handle core HR administration and support a range of human resources activities. The role involves working closely with the HR team on recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and initiatives that improve the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the HR team with routine administrative and operational tasks
- Help manage recruitment activities such as posting jobs, arranging interviews, and coordinating with candidates
- Assist with joining and exit processes for employees
- Keep employee files, HR systems, databases, and documentation accurate and up to date
- Draft employment letters, contracts, and other HR communications
- Coordinate training programs, employee engagement efforts, and internal events
- Support leave tracking, attendance records, and HR reports
- Handle employee questions about HR policies and procedures
- Assist with payroll preparation and benefits administration
- Help ensure workplace practices align with company policies and employment laws
What We’re Looking For
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a similar discipline
- Fresh graduates are welcome; 1 to 2 years of experience in HR, administration, or recruitment is an advantage
- Strong planning, organization, and multitasking ability
- Good written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal ability
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly
- Capable of performing well in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Positive mindset, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative approach
- Solid administrative and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Prior use of HRIS, ATS, or other HR management platforms
- Familiarity with recruitment coordination and day-to-day HR administration
- Exposure to employee engagement, payroll support, or broader HR operations
- Understanding of Singapore employment practices is an added advantage
- HR certifications, relevant coursework, or internship experience will be useful
