Housekeeper

Job Overview

This full-time housekeeping role is based on site in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The position supports guest room cleanliness, service quality, and overall hotel standards in a hospitality setting.

Key Duties

• Keep assigned guest rooms clean and serviced in line with brand and property standards.
• Work according to room-priority categories and hotel cleaning procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality during daily work.
• Follow all housekeeping, room safety, and security procedures.
• Respond appropriately to guest complaints to help ensure guest satisfaction.
• Report maintenance issues and handle guest requests as needed.
• Protect the privacy and security of guest rooms at all times.
• Restock and return the housekeeping cart at the end of the shift.
• Carry out scheduled deep-cleaning and seasonal-cleaning tasks.
• Take on other tasks as assigned by management.

Working Conditions

The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cleaning experience is required.
• Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact clearly with guests, managers, and colleagues.
• Understanding of safe chemical handling practices.
• Knowledge of local attractions and activities that may be useful for guests.
• English and Spanish bilingual ability is an advantage.
