What the job involves

As a Home Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering groceries to customers and acting as the customer-facing representative of the company. The role combines driving, manual handling, customer interaction, and occasional support in store.

Responsibilities

• Load the van safely, including managing heavier items and following manual handling guidance.
• Drive in line with road safety standards at all times.
• Carry out routine checks on the delivery van before use.
• Make sure groceries reach customers in excellent condition.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service during every drop-off.
• Support store operations when additional help is needed.
• Work on your own initiative and use time effectively.
• Be available for flexible shifts, with working hours that may fall anywhere between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Requirements

• Hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years.
• Have no more than 6 points on your licence.
• Bring a friendly, positive attitude and a genuine focus on customer experience.
• Be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working to deadlines.
• Show a strong understanding of safe driving and road awareness.
