Handyperson

Overview

Montfort Mediterranean Grill is looking for a reliable handyperson to carry out general maintenance and light repair work across multiple properties and work sites in Hamilton, Ontario. This role involves frequent travel between locations and may require relocation.

Language

English is required for this position.

Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is needed.

Experience

You should have between 1 and 2 years of relevant experience.

Work Arrangement

This is an on-the-road role. Work locations can change, and regular or constant travel is part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Carry out small repairs and adjustments on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and coordinate with licensed tradespeople for larger issues
• Repair minor appliance problems
• Conduct basic safety and security inspections
• Oversee other workers when needed
• Relocate heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
• Handle routine upkeep work such as painting and drywall patching
• Complete tasks with limited supervision
