Role Overview

As a Frontend Engineer at Meibel, you will help shape how people experience advanced AI products by translating complex technical capabilities into polished, easy-to-use interfaces. This role is suited to someone who values clean engineering, thoughtful design, and building modern frontend experiences that are both intuitive and dependable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support production-ready web applications using React along with modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Work closely with product and design partners to deliver user experiences that are accessible, intuitive, and visually clear.
• Connect frontend interfaces with backend services and APIs to ensure smooth, responsive product behavior.
• Take part in architecture conversations and code reviews to maintain strong engineering standards.
• Improve interface performance, accessibility, and compatibility across browsers.
• Take ownership of features throughout the full lifecycle, from early concept and prototype through launch and ongoing iteration.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of practical experience in frontend development.
• Strong command of React, including modern approaches such as hooks and context.
• Very good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, MobX, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of responsive layouts and accessibility best practices.
• Familiarity with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience creating unit and integration tests using tools such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
• Comfort using Git and common collaboration workflows for version control.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to Next.js or other React-based meta-frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-oriented practices.
• Working knowledge of CSS-in-JS approaches or preprocessors such as Sass.
• Experience with Docker or other container-based environments.
• Interest in frontend performance tuning and developer tooling.
• Ability to work closely with designers or a strong visual design sense.
