Electrical Systems Engineer

Burjline Builders is hiring an Electrical Systems Engineer in Doha, Qatar. This is a full-time on-site position focused on the installation, upkeep, troubleshooting, and performance assurance of electrical metering infrastructure, including smart meters and related communication systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the installation, routine servicing, predictive and corrective upkeep, urgent repairs, testing, calibration, replacement, and modernization of electrical meters, including smart metering solutions.
• Make sure all meter installations follow approved technical drawings, company procedures, applicable regulations, and HSE requirements.
• Investigate faults and resolve issues in electrical metering systems to keep readings accurate, dependable, and continuous.
• Work closely with internal engineering teams, contractors, and external service partners to improve meter efficiency, system dependability, and data integrity.
• Oversee the functioning, maintenance, and connection of meter communication networks so that information is transmitted without interruption.
• Track installation and maintenance work, check progress, spot defects or deviations, and carry out corrective and preventive measures.
• Draft technical documentation, performance dashboards, and operational summaries covering installation status, meter performance, maintenance work, and overall system reliability.
• Confirm that all staff members hold the required permits, certifications, competency records, and mandatory training as per company and regulatory rules.
