This position is for a dishwasher at Troy University in Troy, Alabama. The role supports kitchen and facility operations by keeping food production and service spaces clean, sanitary, and organized.

Employment details

This opportunity may be offered as full-time or part-time. The listed pay rate is $12 per hour.

What you will do

You will help maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and surrounding work areas. Duties may include washing dishes manually or with a machine, cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and equipment, handling trash removal, restocking supplies, and supporting basic setup and cleanup tasks as needed.

Responsibilities may vary by location and business need, and additional tasks can be assigned when required.

Physical expectations

The job involves frequent walking and mobility. You should be able to stand or walk for long stretches throughout a shift, which may exceed 8 hours. The role also requires bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds.

What you need

Applicants should have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Prior related work experience is not required. A basic understanding of sanitation procedures and food safety is expected.
