Role overview
This position is for a dietary aide based at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. The job is performed entirely at the workplace; remote work is not available.

Key duties
- Carry clean dishes, cutlery, and other service items to serving stations and arrange tables.
- Wash and disinfect dishwasher mats, carts, and waste containers.
- Clear, wipe, and reset tables, trays, and chairs.
- Run dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, and cutlery.
- Refill table and service-area condiments and other supplies.
- Scrub pots and pans.
- Portion and package food items.
- Assist customers at counters or buffet-style service areas.
- Restock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Take customer orders.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including worktops, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
- Manage the storage and handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigeration, freezing, cupboard, and other storage areas.
- Remove garbage and kitchen waste.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables.
