Role Overview
This full-time on-site opening in Singapore is for a DevOps-focused developer who can own and improve end-to-end pipeline operations, coordinate implementation with different stakeholders, and help shape centralized DevOps practices across teams and platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Build, run, and continuously improve the full set of DevOps pipelines.
- Work with stakeholders from the requirement stage through to successful DevOps onboarding and implementation.
- Assist developers with JIRA deployment tickets as part of change control processes.
- Partner with vendors and internal platform teams to design centralized DevOps solutions that align with industry best practices and are easy to support.
- Help upgrade the DevOps toolchain and integrate it with surrounding systems.
- Investigate and resolve root causes for issues related to test orchestration and environments.
- Operate effectively in a fast-moving, team-oriented setting and manage multiple priorities at once.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, including documentation, publishing, and presentation-level communication.
- Stay informed about industry developments and contribute to innovation in DevOps, runtime, and operations platforms.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode for SAST, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Proven ability to build CI/CD pipeline orchestration with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Practical experience containerizing applications and creating pods/containers in Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of OpenShift or AWS.
- Understanding of build strategies and branching strategies.
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes deployment processes.
- Experience managing Kubernetes secrets.
- Prior involvement in setting up Jira workflows.
- Strong scripting ability in Shell or Groovy.
- Experience customizing JIRA and configuring Confluence spaces.
- Experience creating centralized CI/CD pipeline solutions.
- Exposure to DevOps governance, security standards, and audit expectations.
- Experience implementing DevOps pipelines in internal and external cloud environments.
- Familiarity with continuous testing tools and practices such as JUnit, SonarQube, and Veracode.
- Automation experience with Python, Chef, Ruby, and PowerShell.
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Awareness of observability platforms and incident response workflows.
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications is considered an added advantage.
