Role overview
LTM is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to turn complex data into practical insights and build machine learning solutions that create clear business value. This role suits someone who enjoys tackling challenging problems, developing predictive models, and working with business teams to support strategic decision-making.
What you will do
- Own day-to-day data science work, set priorities, and help ensure strong delivery quality.
- Explore large-scale enterprise data to identify patterns, opportunities, and insights that matter to the business.
- Create, train, and implement predictive machine learning models.
- Develop solutions that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and support revenue growth.
- Assess new data sources and suggest fresh approaches to collecting and using data.
- Test, validate, and track machine learning models so they continue to perform accurately over time.
- Work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and stakeholders to convert business challenges into data-led solutions.
- Build governance, monitoring, and continuous-improvement practices for machine learning models.
What you should bring
- Proven background as a Data Scientist delivering analytics solutions in enterprise settings.
- Strong grounding in statistics, predictive analytics, and machine learning methods.
- Practical experience building models in Python and/or R.
- Experience using Azure Machine Learning Studio or a comparable cloud-based machine learning platform.
- Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning approaches, including logistic regression, random forests, decision trees, clustering, classification, and regression models.
- Experience working with large enterprise datasets.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure AI and Microsoft data platforms.
- Knowledge of MLOps and end-to-end model lifecycle management.
- Exposure to SQL, Power BI, or modern business intelligence tools.
- Background in deploying machine learning models to production environments.
- Exposure to Generative AI, large language models, or responsible AI practices.
- Industry experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, or Telecommunications.
