Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

Role Overview

NVIDIA is hiring a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to join its Professional Services organization in Singapore. In this role, you will support large-scale data center initiatives for customers around the world, contributing to infrastructure design and cluster deployment planning. The position calls for strong customer focus, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver robust data center infrastructure solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful infrastructure rollouts.
• Plan data center layouts, including floor plans, rack elevations, and simulation support.
• Prepare cable deployment plans by checking connection counts, port assignments, activity timing, and adherence to standard point-to-point design practices.
• Deploy and support NVIDIA products in customer environments.
• Review, validate, and update work instructions related to data center activities.
• Contribute to updates of data center standards and help balance multiple priorities across projects and calls.
• Maintain process documentation and event logs accurately.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site work performed by partners and third-party vendors.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in data center infrastructure engineering, field service engineering, or a related role involving design and implementation work.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of relevant practical experience.
• Strong familiarity with data center environments, servers, and network hardware.
• Hands-on exposure to installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment.
• Good understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and a sharp eye for detail.
• Ability to contribute effectively in a team-based, fast-changing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, along with strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with process documentation and record keeping.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Standout Qualifications

• Network certifications such as CCNA or JNCIA-Junos.
• Exposure to InfiniBand technology.
• Experience working with R&D and network engineering teams.
• Excellent interpersonal capability.
