DigitalPlusSolutions is hiring a Data Analyst for an on-site role in Overland Park, Kansas. The position centers on strengthening reporting systems, carrying out advanced analysis, and supporting better business decisions through data-driven insights.
What you will do
- Enhance and maintain existing reporting solutions so they remain accurate and useful.
- Carry out detailed and complex data analysis to support business needs.
- Lead and support analysis efforts that help identify issues, assess organizational risk, and improve decision-making.
- Share knowledge through coaching, training, and technical guidance for junior analysts.
- Build methods and workflows for prioritizing and scheduling analytical work and projects.
- Investigate business and data-related problems to find underlying causes.
- Define and maintain company data assets, including data models and data jobs using Spark, SparkSQL, and HiveSQL.
- Collaborate with business teams and engineering groups to shape the long-term data platform strategy and architecture.
Skills and background
The role calls for strong analytical capability, experience with large-scale data work, and the ability to design software and data models. It also involves building algorithms, supporting business analysis, and working across enterprise and departmental business process models. Education and experience
