Role overview
Aaratech Inc. is hiring a Data Analyst focused on healthcare operations. The position is centered on turning complex healthcare data into practical insights that support better patient outcomes, stronger operational performance, and improved business decisions.
What you will do
- Collect, prepare, and examine healthcare data pulled from different systems and sources.
- Spot patterns and trends within patient, claims, and operational datasets.
- Create dashboards and recurring reports with business intelligence tools.
- Work closely with clinical, business, and IT stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, accuracy, and HIPAA-compliant handling of information.
- Summarize findings and present them clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, ideally within healthcare.
- Hands-on ability with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and core data analysis methods.
- Prior exposure to healthcare datasets, reporting, and analysis workflows.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience using Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability frameworks such as HL7 and FHIR.
- Exposure to EHR or EMR platforms.
- Working knowledge of Python or R for analysis tasks.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are advantageous.
