Role Overview

This opening is for an entry-level Data Analyst focused on business intelligence and reporting. The role centers on gathering, preparing, analyzing, and explaining data so teams can make better decisions. You will build reports, dashboards, and visual summaries that turn raw information into practical insights, using tools such as Excel, SQL, and visualization software. The position also involves monitoring KPIs, improving reporting workflows, and working with different departments to maintain data quality and support business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather data from several sources, then clean, structure, and standardize it for reliable use.
• Examine datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and useful takeaways.
• Create and update reports, dashboards, and charts using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Provide analytical support and recommendations that help business teams make informed decisions.
• Track key performance indicators and prepare routine performance summaries.
• Help streamline and automate reporting tasks to save time and improve efficiency.
• Work closely with operations, finance, management, and other cross-functional teams.
• Maintain strong data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to internal standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A high school qualification or bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong ability to analyze information and solve problems effectively.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
• Working understanding of SQL for querying datasets.
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Introductory knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience working with databases or data management systems.
• Familiarity with business intelligence concepts and reporting practices.
• Internship or academic project experience in data analysis is an added advantage.

Additional Information

This role is open to entry-level candidates and graduates. The position is remote and may be offered as full-time, part-time, or contract work. Compensation is listed at $20 to $45 per hour. Work languages include English and Spanish.
