Role overview
This is an hourly contract opportunity based remotely from New Zealand. The engagement is expected to last for about 2 months, with compensation set at USD 70 to USD 90 per hour.
What you’ll do
- Examine content for possible security weaknesses, exploit indicators, and recurring threat patterns.
- Work through advanced cybersecurity scenarios that reflect practical, real-world use cases.
- Help refine model understanding of attack techniques, threat behavior, and security-related reasoning.
- Collaborate asynchronously with specialists in systems programming and cybersecurity.
- Assist with evaluation and classification tasks tied to security research workflows.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on background in low-level programming languages such as C, C++, or Java.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including web security and attack vectors.
- Exposure to vulnerability classification systems such as OWASP or CVEs.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot patterns accurately.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to clear an enhanced background check.
