Curriculum Coordinator

Role overview

Sharjah American International School is looking for a seasoned and forward-thinking Curriculum Coordinator to become part of its senior leadership group. The position is central to maintaining strong academic quality and strengthening curriculum performance across all grade levels.

What you will do

• Direct the design, rollout, and ongoing assessment of the curriculum for every subject and grade.
• Make sure learning plans stay aligned with American education standards and ADEK expectations.
• Work closely with teachers by providing coaching, helping with planning, and supporting professional development efforts.
• Partner with school leaders to improve academic outcomes and introduce new ideas in teaching and learning.
• Use student performance data to guide curriculum choices and classroom practice.

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Curriculum Coordinator in an American curriculum school.
• Solid knowledge of the US/AERO curriculum framework and current best practices in American-style education.
• Proven experience in leading curriculum planning, implementation, and review processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
• A master’s degree in education or a closely related area is preferred.
• Native-level English fluency is required.
